I would say something as to why I don't like FPS's, but this debate is already dead.

FPS are my second favorite genre, right behind RPG's.. what don't you like about them?

FPS is mainly a test of action and reaction. Though some require strategy through teamwork and really army strategies (Assuming you're playing realistic FPS games.) Some are just spray and pray, and that's fine. Some people just like them for the gore (such as bashing a grunt after he's dead in Halo. Try it some time. )

I think the only thing wrong with FPS's are the controls. In some games you can't really customize the way you can control the character, and if you're been playing something like Halo, you'll have a hard time adjusting =/ Kind of like playing FF7 and trying to play any other game where the OK button is X.

True, but the more you play one game, the more you adjust. Then, when you go back between games, you'll be fine. Only exception for me is the talk key. In BHD, its T for all and Y for team. In Guild Wars its just enter.

XD@NARUTO!!!!!!!!!
Thats exactly how I feel after I play FF7 and then try to play another game.
But CD, then you have to re-adjust to FF7, because we all know that one can only go so long without playing it for at least a week.
Speaking of FF7, Naruto hasn't caught up to me yet, and it's been like a month and a half.
I think that I should start the next topic.... seeing as how this is three days old.
can't lock it..... so I'll just hope that no one posts.

XD Probably true Zoten. But I've never played it. And you're an Elite Mod now. Can't you lock it? >_>

I don't mind playing games where you just blast the shit out everything, but the first-person view just feels too...limited. I like to see the character I'm playing as, and when playing an FPS, you can't really do much as the character (like using the environment to your use) since all you see is the gun. I still liked Goldeneye, though (from what I remember of it).
And yeah, it was weird having to press O instead of X for Final Fantasy VII. And you should play it CD. Now. Right away. Anyway, should I lock this...?

Probably.
And I'm not going to buy a PS1/2 to play it. >_>

Then play it for PC. Although the best experience comes with playing it for PlayStation, PC will do. >_> Anyway, okay, I'll lock it. Debate over. -Locked-
