Yeah, no one's posted in this or the 1337 topic. Every time I see someone use another acronym/shortcut for something that's easily typed, my IQ goes down and my brain hurts. I'm not saying that people should type perfectly -- everyone makes typos. And it's not like you have to follow every rule of the English language on a forum; it's supposed to be informal, and more relaxed (so it's not like you're supposed to follow every rule). But you should at least make sense. Compare: 1. Hey, I have a question, and I was just wondering if someone could help me. Thanks. 2. hey, I have a question and i was just wondering if somone could help me. thanks 3. hey yall wass^ lolz i wuz juss wunderin if leik sum1 cud help me aight kthx lolz Odds are people will actually help you if you type like the first example, and maybe even the second one. Not the third. Okay, I'll stop now.

If someone posted the third example, I'd get their e-mail, and sign them up for something that spams your e-mail to hell and back.
I would help for the first two, and even if someone uses simple shortcuts like "u" But I never help if they can't use grammar, punctuation, spelling, or even the english language (as shown in #3)

I see a lot of people make design forums, but they know nothing about coding/graphics. Then they get frustrated while making it because they don't understand how to edit codes to their liking/request properly. You shouldn't open a forum -- especially a design one -- if you don't know the subject it's about. Stick with what you know, and try to make sense when you talk others via typing.

If someone sent me an IM, PM, or even posted like that. I'd learn to hack, hack the CIA, get their adress, go to their house, and personally beat the living sh*t out of them. Probably with SO's help.
