what's wrong with Dreamweaver? sorry for the stupid question but I am a complete noob at this, I wouldn't even know how to start if I only used note pad.

Ok then that's kind of my point I am not a real programmer/ web designer I am a slow learner FOR REAL and need all the help I can get that's why I use Dreamweaver... I wouldn't be able to do anything if I had to do it from scratch

Crazy's right. If you want to be a good, or even amazing coder, you need to use Notepad.
Coding is the one thing where it is ok the make mistakes and screw up once in a while.
Such as, ocassionally you'll forget to end tags etc.
Though Cazy's right, never, EVER use a program to make sites (I don't know what dreamweavers like, so no comment on it)

if you have problems learning go to www.htmlite.comthey have great tutorials and like i said, the coding magazines have tons of links (i think issue 3)

yeah I was just reading some of it... Thanks guys, I know you said don't use DW use notepad instead but until I get the hang of it I'll stick with DW, for the time being anyway... It may do most of the work for you and make it to easy (meaning I'm not learning I'm just doing) but I look at all the aspects of what I am trying to do and thats how I learn, Sounds more complex than learning CSS but its how my brain works (kinda backwards sometimes)
Thanks for the help, I'll check back for the next coding Mag...

Actually, CSS is more complicated then parts of HTML down the road. But that's it.
