The use of Proboards Javascript coding??
coding for proboards only has one purpose in my opinion, to learn the basics of coding. (JS mainly). after that PB wont be very usefull because it's very limited to what Javascript can really do. like in my other thread about "proboards coders are noobs", if you go to other coding forums you will see how advanced they are. That's the main reason i left Proboards, to learn more advanced stuff.
not noly that, Javascript is kinda weak, its a client side and in PB you'll use JS only most of the times. while outside PB you can learn much more.
and do we get paid to work our asses of to make codes for proboards?? no nothing, we satisfy other people and make Patrick rich. while on other forums you get paid for your work.

I kinda agree. I want to learn how to mod bigger forums like vBulletin and make some real money with those codes I'm trying to use other languages on PB like PHp by combining it with Javascript though.

I just come here for the community-ish aspect of it.
As for coding, what would happen if you would, for instance, put PHP or anything above JS into a ProBoard?

Incompatibility SO.
You could of course, put a PHP link in a script tag, but that;s your choice.
PB JS is limited, but like Crazy said, it is a great way to learn (its how I did) and it quickly teaches you what you need to know for things such as PHP.

You can use a php script in proboards, just has to be in javascript form.
Let me show you what i mean for a simple hits counter:
<?php $views = file_get_contents("hits.txt"); $fp = fopen("hits.txt","w"); fwrite($fp,$views+1); fclose($fp); echo "document.write('".$views."')"; ?>
and then to link to that in a <script src='blah.php'></script>
