Holy crap this is fun. Reviews say it's just like the first XML, but as I see it, it's a lot better. Nothing's really different, but they changed all the minor things in XML that made the game less fun. So, things like the fluctuating difficulty, glitches, types of story levels, etc. were improved in my opinion (at least so far where I am in the game).
Party: Magneto, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and a fourth character that I keep switching (Iceman as of now). =P

So how does the game play?
I could have sworn that Magneto [OH HOLY FUCKING MOTHER OF GOD AND JESUS, THAT WAS Y2JJOE!! *cries*] and Wolverine were like...opposite sides and whatnot, so how could they be in the same party?

I see.
But now I reiterate, how does it play?
Like Final Fantasy, where you encounter random enemies, and then switch to a battle screen? Or something like.......different?

It's just like a regular action game. The only RPG elements are that your characters level up and gain new skills/upgraded stats along the way. I still haven't bought it yet, even after renting it like more than a month ago. But I will. Soon, hopefully.
