Color text box and board/subboard help

I didn't see this so I hope I was right..

I need some help with a couple things, I need a code that make's the white a different color, here is a picture of what im talking about..

And also I need help with boards when you make sub-boards how do you make it from..

For the sub-boards, that's because they have posting disabled in the main board.

As for the first thing... that whole thing is shades of white. Please circle what you mean.
