Steps 1-13 should be done in Photoshop:
#1 You'll need to first get an image with no background in a single layer. The Image in the layer should be your only layer. Except for the other layer that has your background.
#2 Now, depending on how much you want it to fade, lets say a normal fade is what you want. So, create 4 copies of the image layer. Now you have 5 layers of the samething plus your background layer. That makes a total of 6 layers.
#3 Now, click on the second from the bottom layer and go to the Opacity in the layers pallete and set it to 80%.
#4 Go to the third from the bottom layer and set it to 60%.
#5 Go to the fifth from the bottom layer and set it to 40%.
#6 Go to the sixth from the bottom layer and set it to 20%.
#7 The last layer should be your backgound.
#8 Now, you must make 5 copies of your background layer and set them up below each Zack layer image. For example, your layers pallete should look like this:
Background Your Image 20% Background Your Image 40% Background Your Image 60% Background Your Image 80% Background Your Image 100% Background
You should have a total of 11 layers Now. SAVE YOUR FILE NOW.
#9 Now click on the your image 100% layer and combine it with the background layer under it. If you don't know how to do this then just click on the arrow that's below the close button in the layers pallete. Then scroll down until you find the option that says "Merge Down".
#10 Now click on the your image 80% layer and combine it with the background layer under it.
#11 Now click on the your image 60% layer and combine it with the background layer under it.
#12 Now click on the your image 40% layer and combine it with the background layer under it.
#13 Now click on the your image 20% layer and combine it with the background layer under it. You should now have 6 total layers. 5 layers that have your background and your images and 1 layer that has just the background. SAVE YOUR FILE NOW.
#14 Now you should click on the File Menu> Jump To> Adobe ImageReady
Wait until Adobe ImageReady starts. Steps 15-17 should be done in ImageReady:
#15 Now select the arrow under the close button in the Animation Pallete(If the Animation pallete hasn't opened then open it by going to Window> Animation at the top of the screen). Scroll down to until you come across an option that says "Make Frames from Layers".
#16 You should now have 6 frames in the Animation pallete. If you wish you could change the speed of the animation by clicking below the frame that says "0 sec." This can change the speed of each frame. SAVE YOUR FILE AS FOLLOWS:
#17 Go to File> Save Optimized As. You now have a fading image on a White background.
