I found two cheap tricks. One gets you a lot of experience and the other can get you maxed out on silver keys.
I did the first like three times... thats how I got evil. I did the second only once, and got up to 20 silver keys.
What are the ups and downs of purchasing a shop?
If I get un-scary enough and lead a shopkeeper down to a beach far enough, would I be able to kill him without getting a fine?
What are some of the better buildings to buy?
And lastly (I'm wearing you out with all these questions aren't I?) how do you get gold? I mean, other that slaughtering the innocent?

Mind telling me the second? I don't need exp, just silver keys.
What are the ups and downs of purchasing a shop? - Collecting rent. You can still break in, steal stuff, and as long as you don't kill owner, you keep the shop and don't have to pay for repairs.
If I get un-scary enough and lead a shopkeeper down to a beach far enough, would I be able to kill him without getting a fine? - If you leave town and wait a bit, your fine disappears. You can check it by selecting city before warping. Just scroll down on menu a bit.
What are some of the better buildings to buy? - Ones that you can upgrade (already availible on first trip to town). Upgrade them to max. If you ever sell, you get back all that you put in for upgrades and for the original price (100% return). You also collect increased rent.
And lastly (I'm wearing you out with all these questions aren't I?) how do you get gold? I mean, other that slaughtering the innocent? - (Not at all) Steal expensive items from Oakvale. Save what you want, and sell the rest. If you are around a corner, the shopkeepers can't see you, and sometimes they can't if you steal in front of their faces.

My guile level is one step away from lock picking.... woohoo!
So you collect rent when you own a shop? awsome.
I don't know how to steal.
I have the expression "steal" but when I steal nothing happens to the meter in the upper right of the screen. It stays completely gray.
Another question (I'd be lost without you....). I decided to go for the demon door in Barrow Fields. I'm now obese. Do I stay this way or will I go back to normal if I don't eat anything for a long time?
And that demon door at rose cottage says you must prove your love to it. I tried giving it an emerald but it won't let me use it.
CDdude, the fastest way to do the silver key trick is with the hobb cave mission.
In fact, I'm sorry. You can't do it all. That is, unless, you have a save where you have at least one mission left.
What you do is start a quest, get everything you want, like money, exp., items, silver keys, ect., then hero save and everything that is a one-time deal will reset. You will have saved everything you found, but you can go back to get it again and again as long as you do so.
The exp one, in case you want to start a new file, will get you incredibly evil with no fines.]
Start a quest (ANY quest, but you must have the spade), choose to boast, step on the podium, let all four or five people gather, go dig like five to ten times a row, and it will keep reseting the NPCS (people). You can end up with around 40-50 people. You can murder them all or get renown with trophies. I believe this only works in the boasting area.

I've got my save from before the final quest still, so I'll resume from there and try again. Then I can get the exp and silver keys. ^^ Also, thanks fro telling me, the difference between World Save and Hero Save. I never knew it.
You have to be next to an item in a store to steal. Just stand next to it and a guy with glasses will appear in the lower-left hand corner D-Pad trigger. Hold that button and you should steal.
Another question (I'd be lost without you....). I decided to go for the demon door in Barrow Fields. I'm now obese. Do I stay this way or will I go back to normal if I don't eat anything for a long time? -Just run around a lot, my guy went back to skinny in five minutes.
And that demon door at rose cottage says you must prove your love to it. I tried giving it an emerald but it won't let me use it. -Give it chocolates or a rose, I can't remember which.

okay thanks
I think its chocolates. I believe I have a rose and it didn't allow me to use it.
You're welcome Yeah, a hero save saves everything ABOUT you, including game progress. Just not quest progress, so you restart to right before the current quest. World save saves everything.
I ran for like... three minutes and I was still obese. Oh well, all it has affected is my size when I go to back>>statistics>>personality
When do you see that hobo again? (don't actually tell me)
Do you know the spade trick? I heard that you can use it to sneak through walls (its a glitch).
Back to what you said about twinblade, do I have to fight him?
Or do I just get to him and talk to him? I want to kill him but I don't want evil points....
and, because I forgot, what demon door has that bright will users suit (I think its the bright will users suit at least...)

When do you see that hobo again? (don't actually tell me) -Which hobo?
Do you know the spade trick? I heard that you can use it to sneak through walls (its a glitch). -Didn't know about it until earlier today. Its been confirmed though.
Back to what you said about twinblade, do I have to fight him? - Yes
Or do I just get to him and talk to him? I want to kill him but I don't want evil points.... -You fight him, but can either walk away or kill him after he's down to 1/8th health.
and, because I forgot, what demon door has that bright will users suit -The lonely door.

Okay, so the gay one who won't open up on a "first date"
I got so good that I had shrunken horns and no glowing eys (which basically means I was nearly completely evil; not completely evil)
I've finally learned how to steal. I got the picklock ability but the first time I used it BAM. I got stuck by guard.
I have three homes. The marital homes in both Bowerstone South and Oakvale, and then another home in Oakvale I got from killing someone.
I got married, got 2000 bucks dowry, and because I decided I wanted to rent out the house, I killed her (only 16 points evil. A divorce is the single most evil thing you can do in the game). Besides, it was the only way to rent out the house. I feel bad though because she kept saying "i love you", "i really love you you know" and other things, among them was ooooohhhhhh.......... uhhhhhhhhhhhh". lol.
Have you opened the door that needs a combat multiplier of about 15?
I can only get to 12. I go in the hobb cave, get 12, walk out (it halves it down to 6), and fight that earth troll monster guy that you first fight in dark wood. I would be able to get the multiplier to 15 except that even when I put on the physical shield he breaks it right when I get a 12.
