Has anyone played Fable? I got it Christmas and just started it last night.
Its really awsome. The way you get stronger is similair to FFII. Just pick something you want to level up (like get a new magic spell, increase mp, ect., all falls under "will"; physique, health, and toughness all fall under "power" or something. There are three categories all together); either power, skill, or will, and fight with that, meaning for power fight physically, for skill use your bow, and for will use magic. My favorite is "summon". It starts off summoning a hornet (its a game so the hornet is a little larger than your head, but its weak. BTW the creature you summon is always a monster you can fight) then when your summon kills an enemy, it changes into what it killed. I believe thats how it gets stronger. It will be what it last was when you summon it again.
I killed someone and was fined 1000 bucks I didn't have so I had to restart the game (from where I left off. good thing I hadn't saved for a while).

You got it for Christmas but you only started it yesterday? Anyway, I haven't played it, but my friend (who was hyping the release like crazy) told me a lot. He was so happy when he bought it but was disappointed when he beat it in about 10 hours. I heard it's a fun 10 hours though.

Only 1000? I got up to around 40 mil, my guy was eviler the SO, and that's saying a lot.
Anyways, I beat it around 8 hours, and it was well spent. Not much replay value, but I'm going to do it anyways (as soon as I get to my dad's with the Xbox).
Also, Zoten, if you ever want to try breaking and entering, raise your Guile (under Skill) to 7, or maybe 8, can't remember, but you can then steal fairly quickly and pick locks. Its fun,m but it raises your evil status.

So that's how you break and enter. Thanks a lot CDdude.
I just got the "steal" expression, though stealing ain't an expression.
When you are able to break in, can you break into a shop unnoticed by guards and steal everything?
Plus, can you steal from people? And how do you steal exactly? I was in the Guild, went the shop and the guy left for a little bit (like ten seconds) and I tried to steal. The screen changed a little bit (like a wide-screen effect) for like three seconds but I didn't get anything.
And I got like three chicks "in love" me. lol

You can only break in and steal everything if no guards can see you, otherwise you will be fined.
You can steal from people, but you have to sneak up to them and not be seen by anyone.#
When it changes to wide-screen a small bar appears in the top right corner indicating the progress towards picking a lock/stealing an item(more expensive items take longer to steal)

Cid's right, but I didn't know you could steal from an actual NPC. O.o I'll have to try that. If you do go in, click and hold the left joy-stick to sneak and you'll be less likely to be seen. Also, hold the steal button or you can't steal. If they catch you, they run off the call the guards usually. I'm maried to Lady Grey, the mayor of Bowerstone, and another lady in bowerstone. Its funny. I hit Lady Grey a few times and she didn't divorce me, she can't.

After i finished the game for the second time i felt like taking over the world, by buying every building in the world (shame it's a bit small). It took me about a week to do this but i was getting about 100,000 gold every three days (game time), I eventually gave up on the game when i had over 10mil.

CDdude, how do you collect money from renting out your house?
I own the house in Bowerstone south that is right near the school, and someone rented it, but I didn't get jack. Or do you get the money once the leave?
ps its a "marital" home if that means anything.
Also, CDdude, since you are married to lady grey, go to "grey house". There is a demon door there that only opens when you are married to someone "posh" and "with a title".
How much farther until I am at the end of the game? My next core quest is to find a seeress in the bandit camp.
and one more final question.
Is there anyway to become really good really fast? I'm practically satan right now.

I've done that Zoten, I've been everywhere except behind the good DEmon door, my guy is eviler then Satan. When you enter the city, look at the bottom of the screen. It'll say when there is rent to be collected. First, don't kill Twin Blade, if you do, all of his bandits come after you and you become extremly evil. I killed him for the hell of it. I'd say you are about 1/4-3/4 through the game, you are making good progress. To become good, train on bandits and bees in the forest area, you'll bercome good for killing them, and become famous at the same time.
