I was about to leave Blockbuster with just NBA Street V3 (no, I haven't beaten RE4 yet, but I have the summer pass thing, so I have to take advantage of it), but I forgot to check their old PlayStation section, so I went back at the last minute.
Wow. It really looks empty now. But I guess that's after my friend and me pretty much bought all the Final Fantasy games they had over a certain time period. I went back originally to look for Final Fantasy Tactics (the original), but they didn't have it. Instead, I found MGS -- a new copy -- for $9.99. I bought it, and I started playing today, but...I'm not that far...at all. In fact, I'm just past the first elevator you take up in the game. That's it. >_>
But so far, it seems fun. I haven't really played too many stealth games, so it takes some getting used to.
The voice acting is pretty good too.

Yeah, it's really fun once you get further, which is when you'll start to ignore the fun because of the amazing story.
I also say this is alot better than the remake Twin Snakes for the gamecube since it just doesn't have the feel.

Yeah, I wanted to play this before (or if) I play Twin Snakes. Anyway, right now I'm just before fighting Cyborg Ninja, who I know is Gray Fox. The reason I know this is because I beat him, but due to the movie-long cutscenes, I had to turn off the PS 'cause I had to go.

Your seriously right by that elevator? I remember getting past that in a demo. Read the whole topic before posting. I'm definitely not in that part now. And now I'm supposed to go find a sniper rifle to shoot Sniper Wolf with. The dialogue is awesome in this game too. "If I slow you down, you can shoot me." (Meryl.) "I don't like to waste bullets." (Snake.) "Here, come on, take my gun." (Snake.) "Are you kidding? I know this gun better than I know a bra." (Meryl.)

Hehe, yes. It is a GREAT game. I remember I beat it about 3 times to get everything in it. Have you fought Psyco Mantis yet?

Yup, Psycho Mantis was awesome. I didn't have any games on my memory card that he could've mentioned (SotN, Policenauts [Hideo Kojima would've said something in that case], Suikoden, and maybe something else), but he said I saved a lot. It was cool when he said he would move the controller and it started vibrating. XD
Anyway, now I'm supposed to head for the communications tower. This is AFTER I escaped from being captured. I successfully managed to resist submitting to Ocelot's torture -- twice, in fact, since I forgot to call Otacon by Codec until I had to go again -- and having to press the O button that fast was hard.
I hate having to go through that place with the wolves, but luckily I got Sniper Wolf's handkerchief from Otacon, so that wasn't bad.
But yeah, I'm in the place where I fought Sniper Wolf at (first battle), but this time there's no fight, and I'm supposed to go into the tower.

I can't remember what part I was at before I had to bring it back.

So I take it you went through the torture already. Did you pass it successfully, or did you give up?
